Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 to ascribe a son to the Beneficent God. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (Qur'an) easy in your tongue that you may give good news to those who take heed, and warn the people who are contentious. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
