Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Until when death overtakes one of them, he says: Send me back, my Lord, send me back; 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 Allah will say: "Away from Me; stay where you are and do not address Me. 108 Among My worshipers there were a party who said: "Lord, we believed. Forgive us and have mercy on us: You are the Best of the merciful." 109 "But ye treated them with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while ye were laughing at them! 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say: "What number of years did ye stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 One who worships things besides God has no proof of the authority of such things. God is certainly keeping the record of his deeds. The unbelievers will not have everlasting happiness. 117 And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." 118
