Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light. 61 And He it is Who made the night and the day to follow each other for him who desires to be mindful or desires to be thankful. 62 And the servants of (Allah) Most Gracious are those who walk on the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, "Peace!"; 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 and those who do not bear false witness, and when they pass by idle talk, pass by with honor 72 And those who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, do not fall deaf and blind upon them. 73 And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring who will be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders for the Muttaqun" (pious - see V. 2:2 and the footnote of V. 3:164)." 74 Such are the people who will be rewarded with high palaces for their fortitude,, wherein they will be welcomed with due respect, honour and salutations 75 There they shall live for ever; a fine dwelling place, and residence. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
