Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 It is He who made the night and day an alternation for him who cares to reflect and be grateful. 62 For, [true] servants of the Most Gracious are [only] they who walk gently on earth, and who, whenever the foolish address them, reply with [words of] peace; 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Verily ill it is as an abode and as a station. 66 They are those who are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but keep a balance between the two; 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 of sin-doubled shall be the chastisement for him on the Resurrection Day, and he shall dwell therein humbled, 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 He who repents and does good deeds has truly turned to God. 71 And those who witness not falsehood, and when they pass by some vanity pass by with dignity. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 and who pray "O our Sustainer! Grant that our spouses and our offspring be a joy to our eyes, and cause us to be foremost among those who are conscious of Thee!" 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 Abiding therein; goodly the abode and the resting-place. 76 (Muhammad), say (to the disbeliever) "It does not matter to my Lord whether you worship Him or not. You have rejected His guidance and your punishment is inevitable." 77
