۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 Then We drave them forth from gardens and springs. 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Musa: Strike the sea with your staff. So it had cloven asunder, and each part was like a huge mound. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
