The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Behold, their brother Noah said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
