And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
