The people of Lot rejected the Messengers. 160 when their brother Lot said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 So keep your duty to Allah and obey me. 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 164 “What! Among all the creatures, you commit the immoral acts with men?” 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? You are a people who transgress all bounds." 166 They said, "Lot, if you do not give up preaching, you will certainly be expelled (from this town)". 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 My Lord, save me and my family from their evil doings." 169 We therefore rescued him and his entire family. 170 Except an old woman among those who remained behind. 171 But the rest We destroyed utterly. 172 And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned! 173 Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 174 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
