Say: 'God suffices as a witness between me and you.' He knows whatsoever is in the heavens and earth. Those who believe in vanity and disbelieve in God -- those, they are the losers. 52 And they urge you to hasten the punishment. And if not for [the decree of] a specified term, punishment would have reached them. But it will surely come to them suddenly while they perceive not. 53 They ask you to hasten on the chastisement, and most surely hell encompasses the unbelievers; 54 On the Day that the Punishment shall cover them from above them and from below them, and (a Voice) shall say: "Taste ye (the fruits) of your deeds!" 55 O My bondmen who believe! verily My earth is wide, so Me alone worship. 56 Every soul shall have a taste of death in the end to Us shall ye be brought back. 57 And those who have believed and done righteous deeds - We will surely assign to them of Paradise [elevated] chambers beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Excellent is the reward of the [righteous] workers 58 Those who patiently endured and who rely only upon their Lord. 59 How many creatures cannot fend for themselves! God provides for them and for you. He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 60 And wert thou to ask them: who hath created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon? They would surely say: Allah. How then are they deviating? 61 Allah outspreads and restricts His provision to whomsoever He will of His worshipers. Allah has knowledge of all things. 62 And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: 63
