Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
A. L. M. 1 [This is] the revelation of the Book about which there is no doubt from the Lord of the worlds. 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 It was Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and then willed to the Throne. You have no guardian nor intercessor other than Him. Will you not remember? 4 He sends the regulation of the affair from the heavens to the earth, then on the day which is equal to one thousand years of yours, it will ascend to Him. 5 This is the All Knowing – of all the hidden and the visible, the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 6 He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay, 7 Then kept his posterity with a part of an abject fluid. 8 Then He moulded him; He breathed His Spirit into him; He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts. How seldom you are grateful! 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, then you shall be brought to your Lord." 11
