O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the rumour mongers in Medinah do not desist, We shall then surely impel you against them, so then they will not remain your neighbours in Medinah except for a few days. 60 Accursed – to be caught wherever found and to be slain thoroughly. 61 This was the tradition of God with those who lived before. There will never be any change in the tradition of God. 62 People ask you about the Hour (of the great change). Say: "Only God has knowledge of it. Who knows? The Hour may be close at hand." 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and prepared for them a Blaze. 64 To abide therein for a long time; they shall not find a protector or a helper. 65 Upon the day when their faces are turned about in the Fire they shall say, 'Ah, would we had obeyed God and the Messenger! 66 And they would say: "Our Lord! We obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they misled us as to the (right) Path. 67 Our Lord, give them chastisement twofold, and curse them with a mighty curse!' 68
