Nuh said: my Lord! verily they have disobeyed me and followed them whose riches and children have only increased them in loss. 21 And they have plotted a mighty plot, 22 "And they have said: 'You shall not leave your gods, nor shall you leave Wadd, nor Suwa', nor Yaghuth, nor Ya'uq, nor Nasr (names of the idols); 23 And indeed they have led astray many, and do not increase the unjust in aught but error. 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 Noah said: "O Lord, do not leave a single habitation of unbelievers on the earth. 26 If you leave them, they will lead Your creatures astray, and beget but iniquitous and ungrateful offspring. 27 Lord! Forgive me and my parents and every true believer who enters my house, forgive all the believing men and believing women; and bestow no increase upon the wrongdoers except in ruin? 28

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
