Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a straight path, 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Verily We have placed on their necks shackles which are up to the chins; so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
