If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 We did not teach him (Muhammad) poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. It is only the word (of God) and the illustrious Quran 69 That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth). 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 And for them in the animals are numerous different benefits and drinks; so will they not be grateful? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 They (the appointed Gods) cannot help them; and they and their armies will come (to Us), as captives. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 (Muhammad), tell him, "He who gave them life in the first place will bring them back to life again. He has the best knowledge of all creatures. 79 who has made fire for you from the green tree with which you kindle' 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 So exalted is He in whose hand is the realm of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
