The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and the drivers driving, 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
