THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
