And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
