And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
