We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
