Bring to mind Our servant Job who cried to his Lord, "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering." 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 (and We said to him): “Take in your hand a bundle of rushes and strike with it, and do not break your oath.” Indeed We found him steadfast. How excellent a servant (of Ours) he was. Indeed he constantly turned (to his Lord). 44 And remember Our servants -- Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- they were endowed with great strength and vision. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 Indeed with Us they are among the chosen, the excellent. 47 Also, remember our worshipers Ishmael, Elisha, and ThulKifl, they are among the good. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Gardens Everlasting, whereof the portals remain opened for them. 50 wherein they will recline, [and] wherein they may [freely] call for many a fruit and drink, 51 ۞ And with them are the pure spouses, who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, of single age. 52 This is what you were promised on the Day of Reckoning: 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 All this; but for the insolent awaits an ill resort, 55 Hell, which they will [enter to] burn, and wretched is the resting place. 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 Here is an army rushing blindly with you. (Those who are already in the Fire say): No word of welcome for them. Lo! they will roast at the Fire. 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 They will say: "O Lord, give him who has brought this upon us two times more the torment of Hell;" 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
