Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until you confronted the graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 you shall surely see Hell; 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
