'O Messengers, eat of the good things and do righteousness; surely I know the things you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 So leave them in their bewilderment for a while. 54 Do they think that by increasing their wealth and children 55 Are quickly giving them goodness? In fact, they do not know. 56 Those who tremble in fear of their Lord, 57 and who believe in their Sustainer's messages, 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 These people hasten to perform goodness, and it is they who shall reach it first. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help. 64 (We shall say): 'Do not groan today, surely you shall receive no help from Us' 65 Time and again were My messages conveyed unto you, but [every time] you would turn about on your heels 66 and arrogantly mocked and reviled them. 67 Have they not pondered over the word of God? Has something come to them that did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or do they not recognise their Messenger, that they deny him? 69 Or do they say, 'He is bedevilled'? Nay, he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse from the truth. 70 Had the truth followed their caprices, the heavens and the earth and whosoever in them is had surely corrupted. Nay, We brought them their Remembrance, but from their Remembrance they turned. 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 (Muhammad), you certainly have called them to the right path, 73 but, behold, those who will not believe in the life to come are bound to deviate from that way. 74 ۞ Even if We showed them mercy and relieved them of their afflictions, they would still persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 And We had gripped them with suffering [as a warning], but they did not yield to their Lord, nor did they humbly supplicate, [and will continue thus] 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
