۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 And he who brings the Truth and he who confirms (and supports) it - such are the men who do right. 33 Theirs will be whatsoever they will desire with their Lord: that is the hire of the well-doers. 34 that God may acquit them of the worst of what they did, and recompense them with the wages of the fairest of what they were doing. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His bondman? Yet they would frighten thee with those beside Him? And whomsoever Allah sendeth astray, for him there shall be no guide. 36 but he whom God guides cannot be led astray by anyone. Is God not mighty and capable of retribution? 37 And should you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? They would most certainly say: Allah. Say: Have you then considered that what you call upon besides Allah, would they, if Allah desire to afflict me with harm, be the removers of His harm, or (would they), if Allah desire to show me mercy, be the withholders of His mercy? Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely. 38 Say: 'O nation, work according to your status, I am working according to my status, and soon you will know 39 to whom will come a chastisement degrading him, and upon whom lights a lasting chastisement.' 40 Lo! We have revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture for mankind with truth. Then whosoever goeth right it is for his soul, and whosoever strayeth, strayeth only to its hurt. And thou art not a warder over them. 41
