The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Beneficent 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created man. 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 And observe the weight with equity and do not make the balance deficient. 9 He positioned the earth for all the creatures: 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs. 12 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 13 He created man of a clay like the potter's, 14 and He created the jinns from a flame of fire. 15 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 16 [He is] the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunrise, and the Sustainer of the two farthest points of sunset. 17 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 18 He has let forth the two seas, they meet together, 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 21 Out of them both come out pearl and coral. 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 25
