The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THAT which must come to pass [at last] comes to pass, 1 there will be nought that could give the lie to its having come to pass, 2 The event will be abasing some, and exalting some. 3 When the earth shall be shaken to its depths, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 (First) those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 And those foremost [(in Islamic Faith of Monotheism and in performing righteous deeds) in the life of this world on the very first call for to embrace Islam,] will be foremost (in Paradise). 10 They shall be the nearest to God. 11 In gardens of delight; 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and only a few of them from the later generations. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining on them, facing one another. 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 and fair maidens with large, lustrous eyes 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 [And this will be] a reward for what they did [in life]. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk nor any sinful speech. 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 They will live amid the thornless lot trees 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 and continuous shade, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and fruits abounding 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 We have made them virgins, 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
