O believers, fear God. Let every soul consider what it has forwarded for the morrow. And fear God; God is aware of the things you do. 18 And be not like those who forsook Allah, so He made them forsake their own souls: these it is that are the transgressors. 19 Those destined for the Fire and those destined for Paradise cannot be alike. Verily it is those destined for Paradise who shall triumph. 20 Had We sent down this Koran upon a mountain, you would have seen it humble itself and split asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the parables we strike for people so that they will reflect. 21 He is God; there is no god but He. He is the knower of the Unseen and the Visible; He is the All-merciful, the All-compassionate. 22 He is Allah, than Whom there is no other Allah, the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One, Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian, the Majestic, the Compeller, the Superb. Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him). 23 He is God -- the Creator, the Originator, the Giver of Form. His are the most excellent names. Everything in the heavens and earth declares His glory. He is the Mighty, the Wise One. 24
