Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 In crowds, right and left? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 By no means! For We have created them out of the (base matter) they know! 39 So I swear by the Lord of every East and every West, that We are indeed Able. 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 (Muhammad), leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened: 42 The day when they will come out of their graves in all haste as though rushing to their altars, 43 Their eyes lowered in dejection, ignominy covering them (all over)! such is the Day the which they are promised! 44
