NAY, but consider the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 a warning to humankind, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 What has brought you into hell? 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of the intercessors will be of no benefit to them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Yea, everyone of them claims that he [himself] ought to have been given revelations unfolded! 52 No indeed; but they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
