Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it. 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 Gave darkness to its night, and brightness to its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 And he brought forth therefrom its water, and its pasture. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 But when the great calamity will come about 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
