He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED and turned away 1 from a blind man who had come up to him. 2 And what should teach thee? Perchance he would cleanse him, 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 For him who does not care, 5 to him thou attendest 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 As for the one who comes to you earnestly (striving for guidance). 8 While he fears [Allah], 9 you ignore him. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Honourable and Pious and Just. 16 Cursed be man! how ungrateful is he! 17 From what did He create him? 18 Out of a drop of sperm! He creates and proportions him, 19 then the way eased for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 and then, if it be His will, He shall raise him again to life, 22 No! Man has not yet accomplished what He commanded him. 23 Let man therefore consider (the sources of) his food. 24 We send down abundant water, 25 then We split the earth in fissures 26 And We made corn grow, 27 and vines, and reeds, 28 and the olive, and the palm, 29 And thick gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage 31 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 and from his spouse and his children: 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 whereas some faces will be covered with dust 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 These will be the faces of the sinful disbelievers. 42
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
