The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Woe to the diminishers, 1 Those who when they take the measure from others, take it in full! 2 but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce! 3 What! Do they not expect that they will be raised? 4 Unto an Awful Day, 5 A Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the Worlds? 6 NAY, VERILY, the record of the wicked is indeed [set down] in a mode inescapable! 7 And what could make thee conceive what that that mode inescapable will be? 8 (It is) a marked Book. 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 Who give the lie to the day of judgment. 11 Yet none gives the lie to it except the transgressor immersed in sin; 12 When Our verses are recited to him, he says: 'Fictitious tales of the ancients' 13 Not at all – but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay! most surely they shall on that day be debarred from their Lord. 15 Then indeed they have to enter hell. 16 Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny." 17 However, the records of the deeds of the virtuous ones will certainly be in Illiyin. 18 And what will explain to thee what 'Illiyun is? 19 A record [indelibly] inscribed, 20 To which bear witness those brought nigh. 21 The virtuous will live in bliss, 22 On thrones, watching. 23 On their faces you will see the glow of beatitude. 24 They shall be given to drink of a wine that is sealed, 25 which have the fragrance of musk. This is the kind of place for which one should really aspire. 26 With the wine is a drink from Tasnim, 27 A fountain from which drink they who are drawn near (to Allah). 28 Indeed the guilty used to laugh at the believers. 29 And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. 30 And when they returned to their own followers they returned exulting. 31 And upon seeing the Muslims, they used to say, “Indeed they have gone astray.” 32 Whereas they have not at all been sent as guardians over them. 33 Wherefore Today, those who believed at the infidels are laughing, 34 On high thrones, watching. 35 Have the unbelievers been rewarded what they were doing? 36
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
