The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and thereupon causes it to decay into rust-brown stubble! 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
