The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 by the day when it appears radiant, 2 and That which created the male and the female, 3 Indeed, your efforts are diverse. 4 As for one who gives [to others] and fears [God], 5 and affirmed the Truth of goodness: 6 We shall surely ease him to the Easing. 7 But he who is greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient. 8 and cries lies to the reward most fair, 9 Surely We will ease his way unto adversity. 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 Surely upon Us rests the guidance, 12 And to Us belong the End and the Beginning. 13 I have now warned you of a Blazing Fire, 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 even he who cried lies, and turned away; 16 But the righteous one will avoid it - 17 He who gives his wealth to be purified, 18 And none hath with him any favour for reward, 19 but only out of a longing for the countenance of his Sustainer, the All-Highest: 20 And he shall soon be well-pleased. 21
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
