The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find you perplexed, and show you the way? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
