3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 when he came unto his Lord with a pure heart, 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 “What! You desire, through fabrication, Gods other than Allah?” 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113
