Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the midday brightness 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 The reward in the next life will certainly be better for you than worldly gains. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 Did He not find you a wanderer so He guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
