Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you comprehend what the Night of Destiny is? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months; 3 The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees. 4 Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn. 5
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
