Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed this [divine writ] on Night of Destiny. 1 And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months: 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 it is all peace till the break of dawn. 5
True are the words of God the Almighty.
