The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
The terrible calamity! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
