In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Alif-Lam-Mim-Sad. 1 A Book revealed to you-- so let there be no straitness in your breast on account of it-- that you may warn thereby, and a reminder close to the believers. 2 (People), follow whatever is revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow other guardians besides Him. However, you pay very little attention (to Our words) 3 And how many cities have We destroyed, and Our punishment came to them at night or while they were sleeping at noon. 4 No cry did they utter when Our Torment came upon them but this: "Verily, we were Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.)". 5 We will question those to whom Our Message was sent, as We shall question the Messengers. 6 We shall recount (their deeds) to them with knowledge, for We were never absent (and saw all they did). 7 And the weighing [of deeds] that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful. 8 And those whose scales are light - they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses. 9 We assuredly established you in the earth and arranged for your livelihood in it. Little do you give thanks. 10

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
