In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 excusing or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false]! 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not caused the earth to hold within itself 25 the living and the dead? 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
