The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
