The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Those whose good deeds will weigh heavier (on the scale) 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A blazing Fire! 11
