Believers! Do not swallow interest, doubled and redoubled, and be mindful of Allah so that you may attain true success. 130 And guard yourselves against the fire which has been prepared for the unbelievers. 131 and obey God and the Messenger, so that you may be given mercy. 132 ۞ Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,- 133 who spend [in His way] in time of plenty and in time of hardship, and hold in check their anger, and pardon their fellow-men because God loves the doers of good; 134 And those who, if they commit a shameful act or some wrong against themselves, remember God and seek forgiveness for their sins: For who can forgive except God? They should not be perverse about their doings, knowingly. 135 (As for) these-- their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them, and excellent is the reward of the laborers. 136 There are many examples [of the communities] that have passed away before you: travel through the land, and see what was the end of those who rejected the Truth. 137 This is an explanation for mankind, a guidance and an advice to the pious. 138 And be not infirm, and be not grieving, and you shall have the upper hand if you are believers. 139 If a wound has afflicted you (at Ohud), a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. 140 and that God may prove the believers, and blot out the unbelievers. 141 Did you suppose that you would enter Paradise without Allah knowing those of you who struggled and who were patient? 142 And certainly you desired death before you met it, so indeed you have seen it and you look (at it) 143
