Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
