Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Perdition overtake both hands of Abu Lahab, and he will perish. 1 His wealth and his children (etc.) will not benefit him! 2 He will be roasted in the fire, 3 And his wife, the portress of fire wood, 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

Almighty God's Truth.
