Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path. 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
