(Recount to them about the time) when Your Lord called Moses: "Go to the wrong-doing people, 10 The people of Firon: Will they not guard (against evil)? 11 Moses replied, "My Lord, I fear they will reject me, 12 and then my breast will be straitened and my tongue will not be free: send, then, [this Thy command] to Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 The Lord said, "Have no fear, both of you go with Our miracles. We shall closely listen to you." 15 And go, both of you, unto Pharaoh and say, 'Behold, we bear a message from the Sustainer of all the worlds: 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 He said, 'Did we not raise thee amongst us as a child? Didst thou not tarry among us years of thy life? 18 And you commited what you did, and you are ungrateful!" 19 He said: I did it then when I was mistaken. 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 "And this is the favour with which thou dost reproach me,- that thou hast enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 Pharaoh said to the audience: "This Messenger of yours who has been sent to you is simply mad." 27 'He is the Lord of the East and the West' said he (Moses), 'and all that is between them, if you could understand' 28 Said Firaun, “If you ascribe any one else as a God other than me, I will surely imprison you.” 29 Said he: "Even if I should bring about before thee something that clearly shows the truth?" 30 (The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth." 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
