Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, 2 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful, 3 the Master of the Day of Doom. 4 (Lord), You alone We do worship and from You alone we do seek assistance 5 Guide us to the straight path: 6 The way of those upon whom Thou hast bestowed Thy blessings, not of those who have been condemned [by Thee,] nor of those who go astray! 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
