As the caravan departed, their father said: 'I smell the scent of Joseph, unless you think I am foolish' 94 (Those around him) said: By Allah, lo! thou art in thine old aberration. 95 Then when the bearer of the good news came, He cast (the shirt) over his face, and he forthwith regained clear sight. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which ye know not?'" 96 They said: "O our father! ask for us forgiveness for our sins, for we were truly at fault." 97 He said: 'I shall ask my Lord to forgive you. He is Forgiving, the Most Merciful' 98 And when they came in before Joseph, he took his parents unto him, and said: Come into Egypt safe, if Allah will! 99 And he raised his parents to the highest place of honour; and they [all] fell down before Him, prostrating themselves in adoration. Thereupon [Joseph] said: "O my father! This is the real meaning of my dream of long ago, which my Sustainer has made come true. And He was indeed good to me when He freed me from the prison, and [when] He brought you [all unto me] from the desert after Satan had sown discord between me and my brothers. Verily, my Sustainer is unfathomable in [the way He brings about] whatever He wills: verily, He alone is all-knowing, truly wise! 100 ۞ O My Lord! Thou hast given me of the dominion, and hast taught me of the interpretation of discourses, Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Patron in the world and the Hereafter. Make me to die a Muslim, and join me with the righteous. 101 (O Muhammad), this is part of news from the Unseen that We reveal to you for you were not present with them when Joseph's brothers jointly resolved on a plot. 102 Yet - however strongly thou mayest desire it - most people will not believe [in this revelation,] 103 You shall ask no wage for it. It is nothing except a reminder to all mankind. 104
